Education - Duty of Church, School, Home

An Arab sheik was getting along in years and he felt that it was time to name one of his sons, who were triplets, as his successor. Since he loved and respected them equally well, he did not know how to make the choice

So he sent them to a distant land and promised that the one who would come back with the most useful learning would get the birthright.

The three went off to distant lands, attended universities, flew around the world in planes, visited exotic places and learned many marvelous things.

The first brother invented magic glasses  by which he could see any place he wished to see on earth. The second perfected a magic carpet on which he sat and zoomed him to any part of the earth in five minutes. The bird invented a medicine that could cure any sickness.

The three came together for a birthday party and told what they had found. The first looked through hid magic glasses and saw his father dying. The second invited the two to sit with him on his magic carpet and they zoomed through the air and were at home in five minutes. There the third took out the magic medicine and cured their father at once.

At this. the sheik could not decide which one was to have birthright since it took all of them to save his life. If any one of them had not helped, the other two could not have helped either.

This is like Christian Education needing home, church, and school- all three to help . . . . .
